I. Application To Issue Entry Visas To The Republic Of The Sudan Whoever intends to visit the Republic of the Sudan is requested to obtain entry visas from embassies of Sudan or its accredited consulates abroad prior to arrival in Sudan. The following is the procedure for obtaining entry visas from the Consular Section of the Sudan Embassy in Japan. ■ Acceptance of Documents 10:00 am -12:00 pm Monday - Friday except (Official Holidays) . ■ Delivery of Documents 10:00 am -12:00 pm on or after the date of visa issue. Processing time for visa applications may take AT LEAST two days. ■ Common Required Documents 1. Completed Application Forms Two original completed application forms signed by the applicant should be submitted. * A blank visa application form can be down loaded here. -- Form1 (PDF File) 　　Ｄownload Adobe Reader from here 2．Photographs Two photographs ( 3 cm x 2.5 cm), taken within six months prior to the date of application, with the applicant's signature as in passport on the reverse of photographs. 3. Passport Passports must be valid for at least six months from the date of entry into the Sudan. They should NOT have Israeli visas or immigration stamps affixed to it. Two blank visa pages (double-page spread on passport) are required for obtaining entry visas to the Sudan. 4. Fees for Visa The fee for single-entry visa (i.e. 10,280yen) should be paid in cash when submitting application forms. Multiple-entry visas cannot be issued... No fees are required for Diplomatic and Official passports. Visa fees are subject to change without notice. ■ Other Required Documents Other required documents are according to the table described below. For necessary documents for applying visas other than Diplomatic, Official, Business and Tourism, please contact the Consular Section of the Sudan Embassy in Japan. ■ Notes (1) The Consular Section of the Sudan Embassy in Japan cannot accept application to issue entry visas to the Sudan by mail. However, proxy application is permissible, provided that designated Sudan Embassy's forms are used. * A blank proxy application form can be down loaded here. -- Form 2 (PDF File) (2) Visas are valid for one month from the date of issue and period of stay is one month. (3) Recommendation letter from company or organization requires representative's signature and corporate seal. (4) English letter of guarantee must use designated Sudan Embassy's forms * A blank letter of guarantee form can be down loaded here. -- Form 3 (PDF File) (5) Please bring exact amount of cash to cover the cost. (7) Multiple-entry visas cannot be issued. II. Application To Verify Commercial Documents All export cargoes to the Republic of the Sudan by ship and plane are required to obtain verification of export documents from embassies of Sudan or its accredited consulates abroad prior to arrival in Sudan. The following is the procedure for obtaining verification of export and other commercial documents from the Consular Section of the Sudan Embassy in Japan. ■ Acceptance of Documents 10:00 am - 12:00 pm Monday- Friday except for the official holidays. ■ Delivery of Documents 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm on or after the date of verification. Processing time for applications for verification may take AT LEAST Two days. ■ Required Documents 1. Completed Application Form One original completed application form by each document, which needs to be verified, should be submitted. * A blank application form can be down loaded here. -- Form 4 (PDF File) 2. Documents Needed To Be Verified One each of original and copy of documents, which are needed to be verified, should be submitted. The documents are required to obtain verification from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry prior to submitting application. 3. Fees for Verification Verification fees for commercial documents are accordingly described below. Applicants are requested to pay appropriate fees in cash at the time of application. Verification fees are subject to change without notice. ■ Notes ① The Consular Section of the Sudan Embassy in Japan cannot accept application to verify export and other commercial documents by mail. However, proxy application is permissible, provided that documents are accompanied by the Sudan Embassy's designated application forms being described above. ② Please bring exact amount of cash to cover the cost.
